West Indies
The demise of West Indies has been very evident for several years now, they have gone from a team of 25 years or so ago, that would undoubtedly have been almost unbeatable in this form of the game, to one that at best can be described as mediocre.
That said the Windies had a superb 2009 T20 World Cup where they reached the semi final, it was a peformance that could clearly lift them out of the cricketing doldrums. Hopefully they can even better in the 2010 World Cup for which they will be hosts.
In captain, Chris Gayle they have one of the most exciting T20 batsmen in the world. Gayle in fact holds the record for the highest score made in T20 International cricket when he made 117 against South Africa in the 2007 World Cup.
