Twenty20 Cricket 2011 - Champions League - Mumbai Indians Victorious
The Mumbai Indians were crowned the 2011 Champions League winners after beating fellow IPL side Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets in Chennai. Mumbai hit a score of 139 and then bowled out an out of sorts Bangalore for just 108. James Franklin top-scored with with 41 off 29 balls while Raju Bhatkal finished on three for 21 from three overs.

Champions League 2011 Format
The competition will decide who is effectively the best T20 Club side in the world and will begin with the group stage, comprising of two groups of five teams. The top two in each Group will advance to a knock out semi final, with the winner of Group A playing the Runners up in Group B and vice versa. The final which took place on the Sunday 9th October 2011.

Champions League History
The Inaugural Twenty20 Champions League took place in India during October 2009 and featured all the best domestic teams from around the world in a tournament format. The Champions League was a huge success with some fantastic matches watched by big crowds and in the end it was the NSW Blues who triumphed over Trinidad & Tobago in an enthralling final.
