Northamptonshire Steelbacks
Over the last five years the Northamptonshire Steelbacks have become one of the strongest Twenty20 sides in the First Class game. They have reached the quarter final stages in 2005, 2006 and 2008 but in 2009 they went one better and made the Finals day at Edgebaston. They are not a team full of household name players but they are a very solid outfit who play very much as a team. They are currently ranked at number 4 in the Twenty20 Cup rankings
