Hampshire Hawks

On paper at least the Hampshire Hawks are a very strong outfit that includes current England twenty20 Internationals, Kevin Pietersen and Dimitri Mascarhenhas, who is also captain of the team. They also have the experienced former International star, Dominic Cork to add a very competitive dimension to the squad. They are ranked 14th in the Twenty20 Cup Rankings

Twenty20 Cup Performances

Despite their strength, the Hawks have been disappointing in the Twenty20 Cup having only qualified twice from the Group Stages and they have never as yet reached Finals day. In 2009 they qualified as one of the two best third placed Group teams, but were knocked out in the quarter finals. In the Group stages they won six from ten matches and lost four.
