IPL Record

In the 2008 IPL season the Daredevils qualified for the semi-finals after a fourth place finish in the league. However, they were soundly thrashed by the eventual winners, Rajasthan Royals.

In the 2009 season the Daredevils were the best team in the league standings, winning an impressive ten of their fourteen matches. Luck unfortunately deserted them in the knock-out stages where they were put out by eventual winners Deccan Chargers in the semi-final. The team had a dissapointing third season, finishing outside the top four, and were even worse in 2011 when they finished bottom.
